What was your first job in PR?
My first job in PR is my current job! Before joining the team at First Watch, I worked in restaurants and journalism throughout college.
What’s your #MyFPRA story?
First Watch is a big advocate for personal and professional development. When I started working here, our CMO at the time encouraged me to explore different local organizations to find any that I thought would be a good fit. I tried out some young professionals groups and looked into a couple different PR organizations. He recommended FPRA from his past experience in PR and, after my first FPRA event, I never looked back!
What’s your dream job?
I would love, one day, to oversee communications for a global brand – preferably in the hospitality industry. I was born and raised in the restaurant industry and after studying PR and marketing at the University of Florida (Go Gators!), I’ve found a niche I really love. I’m drawn to the craziness of the PR world and enjoy internal communications just as much, so combining both on a global scale and having the opportunity to travel internationally would be the dream.
