April is APR Awareness Month! For those who have earned their Accreditation in Public Relations credential, the month of April is a great time to start thinking about the APR renewal process.

All chapter members who have earned their APR credentials are invited to an informal coffee hour from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2022 on Zoom to discuss the APR Renewal requirements.

Grab a hot beverage of choice and join the conversation as the chapter’s accreditation director, Erin Hoffer, APR, CPRC, provides insights into the both the old and new APR Renewal programs and some tips to ensure success.

The APR credential is recommended for members with five or more years of experience practicing public relations. Administered by a Universal Accreditation Board, the APR exam process teaches foundational principals and best practices in the field of public relations. After receiving his or her APR, a candidate must renew the credential every three years.
