Consider becoming a Certified Public Relations Counselor. The Central West Coast Chapter is hosting an interactive online workshop from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2020 that is designed to empower and embolden those preparing for the CPRC exam.

Saturday’s session will be interactive and engaging with a series of challenges and group discussions for those interested in earning the credential.

Can I participate?

We want you to achieve your career goals. If you have an interest in obtaining your CPRC credential, we are happy to assist. However, for this particular event, it is best if you meet one of the following criteria:

• If you have earned your APR and want to start preparing yourself to one day earn your CPRC. (In order to be eligible to earn your CPRC, you must have achieved your APR and have at least 10 years of experience in the field.)
• If you are eligible to earn both your APR and your CPRC (in other words, you have a minimum of 10 years of practicing public relations and are ready to take on the challenge to get them both).

How do I register?

Send an email to accreditation@cwcfpra.com. A Zoom link will be sent to you.

What do I need?

The session will be hosted on Zoom.

• You will need a computer.
• You will either need paper and pen/pencil OR a word processor.
• You will need snacks and a lunch to munch on during the sessions. Because we are doing this via Zoom, there was no way to order pizza (blame the pandemic!) and we have a fast-paced, packed agenda ahead.

How do I prepare?

Don’t worry about preparation. If you want, read some case study books. But that is not necessary.

What About APR? Will you be planning something soon for that?
