What FPRA means to you?
FPRA is one of the best parts of my career and I don’t think I would be where I am today if not for the opportunities afforded me in FPRA. Not only has it provided me with the professional development needed to be a confident PR professionals, it also allowed me opportunities to develop my leadership skills. Most importantly, I have forged many friendships through this organization.

What was your biggest accomplishment or Ah-ha moment as president of the CWC-
FPRA?
The moment I realized that my board members and the state leadership had confidence in my abilities and in our Chapter. Their expertise and positive attitude made navigating through a few challenges while also celebrating many successes and milestones more meaningful.

How has earning your accreditation helped your career?
I have both my APR and CPRC. Earning my accreditation has undoubtedly helped me navigate complex situations as a communications professional. It provides solid guidelines in which to evaluate a situation and provide counsel.

Favorite book or website that you recommend to PR professionals:
I don’t have a favorite book or website, but I do like to keep up with business trends overall. By being aware of what the CEOs are facing, I can better provide sound counsel on a variety of topics and issues.
