Where are you now? My family and I live in Pinehurst, NC. I work remotely for The Exchange Network, a membership organization that provides professional development opportunities for wealth management and investment advisors through in-person conferences, webinars, and focus group calls. My role is to lead the organization’s marketing strategy, plan conferences, and host webinars and focus group calls for members.
What FPRA means to you? FPRA means so much to me. I first joined because I was assigned Public Relations and Marketing duties at my new job but had never studied or practiced either. FPRA was my lifeline at the time. Not only did I learn everything I needed to help me in my career at the time I also made so many friends, including some of my very best friends.
What was your biggest accomplishment or Ah-ha moment as president of the CWC-FPRA? Myself and the board worked so well together. I was really proud of the cohesiveness. Together I felt like we brought in creative and inspirational speakers and worked hard on increasing revenue for organization.
Favorite book or website that you recommend to PR professionals? I don’t have a favorite but I always like reading case studies.
