Dear FPRA Members & Friends:
I hope you are enjoying your summer! Most of us are planning now for the months ahead, squeezing in vacations, conferences and professional development sessions wherever we can. I hope you’ve included the 81st Annual FPRA Conference in Tampa as well as our upcoming chapter events (see below) in your schedule.
Our chapter leadership is also preparing for transition to a new board of directors come September. A slate for next year’s board has been prepared by the nominating committee, based on those who indicated an interest in participating through our surveys and calls for leaders over the past several months. Chapter members will receive a link to the slate in the near future for you to cast your vote.
I’m honored to have served as the chapter president this past year. While there is still a lot to do – and I’m sure there will be plenty to celebrate after the state conference – it’s time to plan for another successful year ahead under the leadership of our president-elect, Kim Livengood, APR, CPRC.
Speaking of planning for another successful year: In order to serve you to the best of our ability, the 2019-2020 CWC-FPRA board would appreciate it if you would take a moment to complete this brief survey.
