Dear CWC-FPRA Members and Friends:
Kim Livengood, APR and I just returned from our first State Board meeting with lots of energy and money! Our chapter received a membership rebate check for $3,362.50 – thank you to all the members who renewed. We will use these funds toward scholarships to Annual Conference held in August 2019.
I’m sure the SMART programs and FUN mixers that our board puts together every month attract many of you to CWC-FPRA, and rightly so. I’m willing to bet, though, many of us also have friendships that have evolved from our FPRA experiences. That is why I’m excited to see so many members renewed. It means our members are COLLABORATING with the best communications professionals in the area and have ENGAGED with our programs to elevate their profession.
Do you sometimes feel like you are expected to be a miracle-worker? Do your boss, clients, co-workers – even friends and family – demand things from you that are unrealistic or unfair? With all the demands from others (including demands you put on yourself) how can you stay sane at work? I encourage you to register for the FREE webinar: “E – R = F: Expectations minus Reality equals Frustration” on Nov. 15 at 11:30 a.m.
I wish you a Thanksgiving filled with FUN and hope to see you at the November professional development luncheon. And thank you again for being a member of our chapter!
Sincerely,
Rhonda Leiberick, APR
PS: Congratulations to Sharna Rozin for winning FPRA’s contest for the first 500 member renewals. Sharna will enjoy two 1-day/2-park tickets to Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure, PLUS a two-night stay at the Rosen Shingle Creek AND front line access!
